100 Iceland Hotel

It's a 100 for 100 Iceland Hotel

I stayed in Reykjavik for one night only and this hotel was the perfect place to fit my budget and needs. It's directly across the street from bus stop number 10 which is an easy drop off/pick up for most tour companies. It's also totally walking distance from the main bus station, the BSI (I did it with all of my luggage).

Reception was friendly and they held my luggage for me while I went on a tour the next day. Unfortunately when I came back to pick it up the receptionist was on break so I had to wait for her to come back which was only bothersome because I had only minutes to spare to catch my bus but there was no way she could have known that so it's not a big deal (and I made the bus).

The hotel does have an elevator, my room was on an upper floor. The room was small but large enough for a bed, desk, and shelf plus a cool little balcony. It was plenty of space for a single person who is only spending time in the room to sleep & shower. Everything was clean and I was comfortable.

Your key card for your room will also open the front door to the hotel after hours which I think is great. I arrived back to the hotel around 2am after a late northern lights tour and felt completely safe.
