Loch Ness
I slept in and read a lot of my book, had some toast and home made jam, walked around Invergordon, got a little marzipan treat, and got ready to look for Nessie!
Gav picked me up, I got to meet his girlfriend Katie, and then off we went to Inverness and then Loch Ness (right next to each other).
They had the path down to the loch barricaded so naturally we hopped over. I got GREAT photos, unfortunately I didn’t see Nessie. We went to a few different spots along the 23 mile Loch Ness and also saw Urquhart Castle, which is in ruins.
Last stop was the train station in Inverness :( Gav signed my cast and then I had dinner at Pizza Express, which turned out to be DELICIOUS! I was skeptical because it’s a chain and I thought it was like a fast food place but it was a sit down. The waitress had to slice my pizza for me and I learned that the group of people I saw in Edinburgh last week were all wearing the same black & white striped shirtbecause they were cooks at Pizza Express!
Last shot is my upper bunk on the sleeper train, I had a glass of wine with dinner and two mini bottles on the train, out like a light!
